Froo-t Overnight Oats

Breakfast is the most important meal, but many of us don’t have time to create a healthy morning meal to kick start the day. So, why not make it the night before?! Here’s how…

Here at Froo-t we absolutely love breakfast foods, but we struggle to find a meal that is both nutritious and quick to make before we head into the office. After discovering Fran’s Food Stories on Instagram, we asked her to create a recipe using our smoothies that’s simple and doesn’t require us waking up any earlier than we have to!

So, if you’re heading back to school or uni, or simply want a healthy breakfast that you can rustle up the night before, this one’s for you!

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 40g Oats
  • 3 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Froo-t Banana and Strawberry Smoothie
  • 50ml Milk
  • Strawberries for topping

Method:

  • Mix together the oats, chia seeds, smoothie and milk in a bowl or a mason jar (I find a mason jar easy to grab and eat in the car in the morning)
  • Cover and store in the fridge over night.
  • In the morning top with strawberries or your favourite fruit – a dash of granola is great – and dig in!
